What to Bring
The temperature on Iona varies greatly. In the summer it can be either very hot or very cold, wet and windy. Lots of layers is the answer - rain gear essential. Good walking shoes or boots for hill walking. A small rucksack is useful to hold your picnic and extra clothes when out for the day. For visitors from overseas the currency is Pounds Sterling.
